Hockey India congratulates Vishal Kumar Dev and Vineel Krishna for being appointed as Member of AHF Raja Ashman Shah Hockey Academy Committee & AHF Effective Promotions Committee respectively
December 26, 2019: Hockey India on Thursday congratulated Vishal Kumar Dev, Secretary-Cum-Commissioner, Department of Sports & Youth Services, Odisha State Government as well as Vineel Krishna, Director, Department of Sports & Youth Services, Odisha State Government for being appointed as Member of the Raja Ashman Shah Hockey Academy Committee and AHF Effective Promotions Committee respectively.
During the AHF Congress held on Tuesday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, AHF also appointed Hockey India CEO Elena Norman as Member of AHF Competition Committee, Hockey India Vice President Bholanath Singh was appointed as Member of AHF Award Nomination Panel and Secretary General Rajinder Singh was appointed as Member of the AHF Event Evaluation Panel.
Former India Captain Jagbir Singh was appointed as Member, AHF Masters Panel while former India stalwart midfielder Sardar Singh was appointed as Member AHF Athletes Committee. International umpire Javed Shaikh was also appointed as Member of the AHF Umpiring Committee.
Following the appointments made today, Hockey India President Mohd Mushtaque Ahmed said: “My heartiest congratulations to Mr Vishal Kumar Dev and Mr Vineel Krishna on being appointed as Members of Asian Hockey Federation Raja Ashman Shah Hockey Academy Committee and
AHF Effective Promotions Committee respectively. The dynamic officers from Odisha are true hockey lovers and are known among the hockey fraternity world over for their efforts in development of sports in Odisha and their contribution to Indian Hockey. I would also like to congratulate all the Executive Members from India who have been appointed into the respective committees in AHF. These are very prestigious responsibilities and I wish them success.”
